What is in the free edition, and what is in Pro?

In the free edition

  • SMTP, PHP mail and eight API providers: Brevo, Elastic Email, Mailgun, Postmark, Resend, SendGrid, SMTP2GO, SparkPost
  • Several connections in priority order: the first that accepts sends it, and a provider going down does not lose the mail
  • A log of every attempt: recipient, subject, status, connection and source, with filtering and resending
  • Automatic retries one, five and thirty minutes after a failure
  • Delivery status of an order’s e-mails on the WooCommerce order screen
  • Storing the body is optional; switching it off switches resending off too

In Pro

  • A WooCommerce e-mail designer: logo, colours, footer
  • Open tracking
  • Failure alerts: a notification when sends fail one after another
  • Conditional routing: order mail through one connection, newsletters through another

Features and where to see them running

This install deliberately defines an unreachable SMTP connection (127.0.0.1:2525, with nothing listening). Every mail you send from the forms therefore lands in the log, is marked failed and is retried; no mail ever leaves the demo environment.

A failed row in the log has a “Resend” button; because the connection is unreachable the result fails again, but you see the flow.

Real delivery

On a shared demo account you do not want mail going to whatever address a visitor types, so no working provider is configured. On your own install, the moment you put your provider’s details into a connection, the same log fills with “sent” rows.
